🎄 A Christmas Message from Will Adams🎄

Newsletter Dec 25, 2025

Friends,

As we wrap up 2025 and head into Christmas, I want to take a moment to speak directly and without the usual political varnish, to thank every single one of you who has supported my work this year.

This was a milestone year for me. A turning point.
2025 was the year I launched The Provincial Times, a project I had dreamed about but wasn't sure I'd ever actually pull off. It was the year I stepped forward as an independent journalist determined to challenge the old guard, expose government mismanagement, and deliver the kind of honest, grassroots reporting that Ontario has been starved of for far too long.

It was also the first year I began earning money from my reporting—not from corporate donors, not from party insiders, not from special interests, but from you, the readers who chose to support independent media over establishment spin. That matters. That is the foundation of every truly democratic movement: people choosing truth over convenience, accountability over propaganda.

And it's not lost on me that many of you joined this journey because you're tired of how politics and the press operate in this province. You're tired of governments that blow billions while preaching restraint. You're tired of bureaucracy being treated as a jobs program. You're tired of journalists who behave more like government/party courtiers than public watchdogs.

You wanted something different. And together, we built it.

A Year of Breaking Through the Noise

2025 brought stories that the right-wing establishment media wouldn't touch, from government waste to local issues being ignored in communities like ours. Whether it was challenging Metrolinx secrecy, calling out Ontario's energy mismanagement, or exposing political theatre dressed up as governance, your support made every article possible.

The Provincial Times began as a small spark; now it's a growing fire. And that's because of you. Every read, every share, every subscription, every encouraging message has kept this platform alive.

A Movement Bigger Than Journalism Alone

Truly, this isn't just about reporting.

It's about accountability. It's about pushing back on the waste, the secrecy, the corruption, the theatrics that both establishment parties rely on. It's about building something real and independent in a political climate built on illusions.

This year proved something important: independent journalism in Ontario can thrive when the people demand it.

Looking Ahead to 2026

I'm entering the new year with more determination than ever.
More investigations.
More local coverage.
More pressure on the powerful.
More voices amplified that the mainstream would rather ignore.

You gave me the foundation to do this work. I won't forget that.

Thank You. Truly.

Thank you for believing in me when The Provincial Times was nothing more than a rough idea and a stubborn belief that we could do better.

Thank you for reading, for supporting, for challenging me, and for sharing these stories far beyond Bowmanville, Oshawa, and Durham Region.

And thank you for proving that independent media still matters, now more than ever.

I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas, a peaceful holiday season, and a New Year filled with honesty, clarity, and courage.

Because we're going to need all three.

🎄 Merry Christmas, and thank you for being part of this movement!
