NEWSLETTER: We Hit our Goal, And Now the Real Work Begins
Friends,
Because of you, the fundraiser reached its goal, and I'm heading to Calgary!
This isn't a vacation. It's not a spectacle. It's about ensuring ordinary people—not just insiders, lobbyists, and party elites—get to see what really happens behind the slogans and stage lights.
You helped make that possible.

For too long, the political aristocracy and the right-wing establishment media have told Canadians what to think, what to believe, and which stories “matter.” Independent voices are treated like a nuisance, or worse, shut out entirely.
But you stepped up and said no.
You said transparency matters.
You said accountability matters.
You said truth matters.
And because of your generosity, I'll be there, on the ground, asking questions that don't always get asked and refusing to read from anyone's script.
I won't forget that.
Every donation, every share, every message of support sent one clear message:
We don't need permission from the establishment to be informed.
I know times are tough. People are paying more, earning less, and being told to simply “accept it.” The fact that you still chose to support independent journalism means something. It means you believe Canada deserves better than carefully packaged talking points.
In Calgary, here's what you can expect:
- honest coverage without spin
- conversations with everyday attendees, not just party insiders
- tough questions when they're needed
- real analysis grounded in facts, not PR
And if something doesn't add up, I'll say so plainly.
I'm grateful, and I'm also determined.
Determined to make sure your support wasn't symbolic.
Determined to ensure this trip delivers meaningful reporting.
Determined to prove that citizens—not gatekeepers—should shape the conversation.
Thank you for believing in this work.
Thank you for standing behind independent journalism.
Thank you for making Calgary possible.
I'll keep you updated as I go, and I promise to carry your support with me every step of the way.
With sincere gratitude,
— Will Adams
