Big News: The Provincial Times is now independent!
Hey gang, big announcement time. So, uh… deep breath… we did it!
The Provincial Times has officially packed up its little Substack suitcase and moved over to Ghost.io. Yeah, it’s like moving out of your parents’ basement. Scary, but you get your own fridge now.
Look, Substack’s been great to us. Without it, The Times wouldn’t even exist. But here’s the deal: when you’re trying to actually pay your writers (and not just in “exposure” and half a granola bar), you gotta keep every cent you make. And Ghost lets us at Left Lane Media Group do exactly that.
Every dollar goes right back into keeping the lights on and making sure our people get paid. Now, for all our premium subscribers, don’t freak out. Seriously, stop sweating. We got you covered. We’ll handle the transfer on our end, and you don’t have to lift a finger. Unless you want to unsubscribe, which, hey, you totally can. Free country. Just don’t. Please.
